Who is Jesus?

Jesus Himself asked that question. Jesus asked His disciples “Who do people say I am?” The disciples answered, " Some say you are John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and other say Jeremiah, or one of the prophets." Then Jesus asked His disciples, “Who do you say I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Then Jesus said, “Blessed are you Simon Peter; for no man told you this, but my Father which is in heaven.”

People today also have their own answer to that question. But how can people really answer the question, unless they have read about Him. We hope this site will help you to find the answer to the question, “Who is Jesus?”

Jesus Heals a Man with Leprosy

This lesson is taken from Matthew 8:2-4 and Mark 1:40-45

One day as Jesus came down the mountainside large crowds of people followed him.  Suddenly a man with leprosy came toward Jesus.  The man fell to his knees in front of Jesus, worshiping.  The man wanted to be healed, and he said to Jesus, “Lord, if you wanted to, you can make me well again.
Jesus was moved with pity, so He touched the man and said, “I want to.  Be healed!” At that very moment the leprosy was gone, and the man was healed.  Then Jesus said to him, “Go over to the priest and let him examine you.”  The words “examine you” means to let the priest see that he was healed.  Jesus told the man, “Don’t talk to anyone along the way.  But, take along the offering that is required by the Law of Moses for those who have been healed of leprosy, so everyone will know that you are healed.”

But the man didn’t obey Jesus!  For, as the man went his way, he was telling everyone that Jesus had healed him.  So soon a great crowd of people had surrounded Jesus.  There was so many people coming to Jesus, that soon he couldn’t even enter a town anywhere, without them coming to Him.  He had to stay out in private or hidden places, but people from everywhere would soon find him and come to him there, also. So, as you can see Jesus didn’t have much time by his self.  For people was all the time finding where he was at, and they would bring Him their sick people.
